Two major challenges facing chemical synthesis are product isolation and catalyst recovery. One method to overcome these is perform the in a flow system with catalytic stationary phase. However, polymeric materials used systems often laborious produce. In this study, we investigate novel supramolecular gel as phase material. The based on modular, easy synthesize, oxotriphenylhexanoate (OTHO) gelator comprised of unit designed catalyze Knoevenagel reaction. organogel enhances rate formation can be reused five times. Use OTHO construct gels flexible technique that utilized improve reduce wastage catalyst.
